I am from Germany and following my general education I worked for Hans-Henning von der Decken and Paul Schochemohle where I gained lots of experience of backing and breaking horses and gained a passion for stud work. My next position was in Ireland at Sunny Hill Stud with Michael Hickey where I learnt and expanded my knowledge about TB breeding and stud management. A few years of freelancing and backing youngsters and riding out racehorses before I saw the advert for the Stud Groom position at Catherston Stud. I have responsibility for the grass kept horses, youngsters and brood mares, Stud work and backing the young horses with Charlotte and Jennie.
